The Vibe: Unlike the spicy, warm original Asad, Zanzibar is much more tropical and aquatic. It is often compared to the “Le Beau” line by Jean Paul Gaultier because of the prominent salty coconut note.
The Scent Profile: It opens with a sharp, peppery freshness that quickly settles into a creamy, “suntan lotion” vibe thanks to the coconut and powdery iris. The incense in the base gives it a slightly smoky, sophisticated dry down rather than being purely sweet.
Performance: It is known for having strong projection and excellent longevity, often lasting 8+ hours on skin and even longer on clothes.
