What is an Emulsified Body Butter?

Base: Combination of water + oils + emulsifier

Texture: Smooth, fluffy, and creamy (less greasy than whipped butter)

Formulation: A balanced mix of a water phase (like distilled water, hydrosols) and an oil phase (butters + oils) bound together with an emulsifier (like BTMS-50).

How it works:

Feels rich like a butter but absorbs faster like a cream.

Offers deep hydration (from the water) and moisture sealing (from the oils and butters).

Easier to spread, lighter on the skin, and doesn’t melt in heat like whipped butters can.

Best for: Everyday use and for people who want nourishing moisture without greasiness
